This update is rolling out to all Automate accounts from 3 September 2026. Everything on this page is included at no extra cost, and there's nothing to install or move across.
This is the biggest update we've shipped since Automate launched. The dashboard, the calendar, the package editor and the whole phone experience have been rebuilt — and so has the foundation underneath them. That foundation is what makes the things at the end of this page possible.
Billing
Your billing hasn't changed
This update adds subscription management to Automate. Accounts created before it are on a legacy billing arrangement: they keep their current price and everything they already have, and their card is charged exactly as it has been.
It's built for the phone
Most of you use Automate between jobs, in the van, one-handed. Every screen has been rebuilt for that, rather than squeezing a desktop layout onto a small display.
- Readable at a glance. Type sizes and tap targets sized for one-handed use, not a desktop layout squeezed down.
- The diary as a list. A stacked agenda built for a narrow screen, with jobs in the order they happen rather than a compressed grid.
- Everything two taps away. Bookings, payments and customer details are reachable from wherever you are in the app.

Your numbers, first thing
The dashboard is built around the three figures you check every morning, and the one thing you send out a dozen times a week.
- Bookings, earnings and upcoming value. How many jobs, what you've taken, and what's still to come in — on one screen, without digging.
- Your booking link, one tap away. Copy or share it straight from the dashboard, into a text, a bio or a comment.
- Partner offers. Deals on kit and supplies, in a panel on your dashboard.

Supplier deals, inside the app
There's a panel on your dashboard carrying exclusive offers and discounts from the suppliers, tool makers and services we've partnered with. The line-up isn't fixed — new partners come on board over time, so it's worth checking back in.
It's there because you're an Automate customer, at no extra cost.
Buy from a supplier you rate? Tell us who, and we'll approach them.

Not on Automate yet?
The booking system built for UK mobile valeters and detailers. Online bookings, card payments, automated reminders and a customer CRM. Fourteen-day free trial, cancel anytime.
A diary that matches how you work
The calendar has three views, each doing a different job, rather than one view trying to cover all three.
- Day view. Bookings stack, so a fully booked day stays readable at a glance.
- Week view. Jobs and time off side by side. Drag across several days to block out admin, holiday, or a van off the road.
- Month view. The wider picture, for planning ahead and spotting the quiet weeks.

A job on one page
The booking page puts the customer, the vehicle, the service, the money and the history together, instead of spreading them across tabs you have to remember the order of.

Packages built the way you sell them
The package editor is rebuilt from scratch. It's the part of Automate where the difference is largest, and the part most worth a quiet half hour with a cup of tea.
- Start from a template. Eleven ready-made packages with pricing tiers and vehicle-size bands, modelled on 14,000+ real bookings across the platform. Sensible defaults you can then change.
- Upgrades inside a package. When a customer moves up mid-booking, the price difference is calculated from the same package, so the upsell is a two-tap job.
- Territories and technicians in one place. No more saving a package, then going elsewhere to attach it.
- Your own categories. Group packages the way your business is organised, rather than the way a system expects.

Areas and their packages in one go
Packages can be attached to a territory directly from the territory editor. Adding a new postcode area no longer means a second trip through the package screens.

Friendlier throughout, in your colour
Every screen has been cleaned up, not just the new ones: shorter forms, labels that say what they mean, and less clutter on the screens you spend the most time in — the diary, the booking page, the dashboard.
Accents across the app pick up the brand colour set in your settings, so Automate looks like your business rather than ours, from onboarding onwards.

What this unlocks
This update rebuilds the foundations of Automate, which clears the way for the things customers have asked for most.
Quote-based bookings.
For jobs that need pricing before they can be committed to.
Better discounting.
More control over offers, codes and pricing rules.
Marketing tools.
Bringing repeat customers back without doing it by hand.
Those three are the requests we hear most often. This release doesn't ship them yet — it makes them possible to build properly, instead of bolting them onto the old foundations. That's the point of the biggest update so far.
